So yesterday there was no school. So what does one do with a free friday???

I got up bright and early at 7:45 am and went to shaeda's house at 9. Sylv met us there and we went to Claremont to take a tour of Claremont McKenna. So we end up getting into Claremont at like 9:45 and our tour was at 11, so we got coffee and yummy pastries from Some Crust (which is a very yummy bakery I might add). We drove around until we could find parking at CMC, and of course, the only parking that we could find was parallel parking in front of the admissions office. I happened to be driving yesterday and i don't know how to parallel park, so shae and sylv were directing me as to how to do it. We were able to make it in the spot but, as shaeda said, "you could have 2 people lying down next to the curb and they still wouldn't touch the car." needless to say, i was very illegally parked (our tour guide even made fun of my parking job, that's how bad it was)

Our tour was good, i liked the school, i'm applying there and what not... after the tour we met up with Katie Moore who was at the water polo tournament, we hung out with her for like a half hour or so, then we went to lunch at Harvard Square Cafe (i think that's what it's called) then we drove back to shaeda's house.

Sylvana went home, but shaeda and i still had more to do. We left shaeda's house pretty much as soon as we got back and made the long trek to Long Beach on the 605. Why were we going to long beach??? I had to pick up a pair of glasses and i needed them before SATs the next morning. So shaeda graciously gave of her time to join me so that we could use the carpool lane since the 605 SUCKS. The drive wasn't too bad, got back around 5 or so, then shaeda and i chillaxed. we watched the end of the ring, which i had never seen before. Now i really need to see the whole movie, very intriguing. We decided that we needed to eat something so we spent like a half hour deciding where to eat. We didnt want mexican, italian or burgers cause we thought that would be too heavy, yet we decided to go to Claim Jumper. We get there, we read the menu, and then we realize-- we don't want Claim Jumper. We want In-n-out. so we're like shit, what do we do??? we can't just leave, can we??? we end up ordering onion rings to go, then we leave and drive through in-n-out and get some burgers. we go back to shaeda's house and watch an old alias episode, then next thing i know it's like 9:30 and i have SATs in the morning!!! ahhhh!!!! so i go home and take a shower and go to bed!!!!

So, in summary, yesterday was one long, crazy ass day (130 miles of driving!), but it was one of the best days ive had in a long time...

today is international day of peace, so be peaceful. Make peace, not war (ok im sure that that is not the real saying but whatever, im making it a saying now...)

i wonder if they did anything in Iraq about this, like they ceased fighting for the day or something. my guess is no because war is stupid and they probably could give a rats ass about stuff like this... stupid war... you should mark that down in history as one of the few times i will ever voice my opinion about something controversial

so yeah, be peaceful folk and what not.

:)

Hmm... it's been a while i guess, not like i've ever really had a set pattern of entries...

So I was at the bank today after school, and I see these three like 20 something Mexican guys. Well, i can't say for sure that they were Mexican, don't want to offend anyone or anything, but nevertheless they were Hispanic men with lots of tattoos and shit. My favorite of them all, if you could call him my "favorite", had a shaved head with a lipstick kiss on the side. Reeaaaallllly sexy, let me tell you. So, I'm leaving the bank and as I start to walk out, I hear one of them say "have a nice day" and i knew it was the guy with the lipstick on his head and i wasnt really thinking so i said "thanks" in this like "uh, leave me alone" tone of voice. Then the next thing i know, i hear the guy say, "Can I get your number?" and i'm thinking what the fuck, so i just keep walking, refusing to acknowledge what he just said. Because I didn't respond to his request, he then yelled "Crack whore!!!" at me. I guess I was supposed to be insulted, but it was just suuuuch a lame comeback. So I never turned around, and i walked quickly to my car and sped off before they could come and try to talk to me again. ugh....

I really wonder if he thought I was going to say yes. I was wearing my uniform, so i would think that the natural conclusion for one to make would be that i am too young, but I guess when the little head thinks, it doesnt think to realisticaly. I mean, god, I was wearing a fucking ribbon in my hair- how old do you think I am??? Retard....

Yeah, so I guess I haven't written in here in like... forever...

So let's see, summer's been good so far, getting a really hot speedo tan line from camp- you know you want white racer strips down your back, you're jealous, might as well admit it now...

Camp = pretty good i guess. campers are okay, they're only 5 years old so you can't keep your expectations too high with them... lots of naughty little boys and cute little girls... a little boy that I didn't know poked me in the butt the other day and made some comment that now I can't remember... we went iceblocking on wednesday, lots of fun, i'd take you all but you probably wouldn't find it as exciting as I do, plus it's too freaking hot outside to do anything anyways.. oooo I almost forgot, I have a camper who likes to lick me when I'm not paying attention and it is soooo gross... 5 year old slobber on my arms... yuck

When I'm not at camp, I'm usually babysitting. If I'm not babysitting I'm watching TV and eating junk food. If I'm not doing any of the above, then I'm sleeping. Occasionally I go out with other people from camp or friends who are in town, but otherwise my life is pretty quiet, and I'm liking it that way.

My eating habits have completly changed because of camp. I literally eat like every 2-3 hours. I eat breakfast at like 7:30, lunch at like 11, 11:30-ish, a snack at like 1, a snack at like 3, dinner at like 5, and another snack or 2 before I go to bed...

Well, I'm off to babysit 5 kids, yes that's right, 5 kids. Someone please shoot me now...

    <lj:music>that tipsy song or whatever the hell its called</lj:music>

Ah, the Irish... great accents, like to drink, red hair, green eyes, top o' the mornin' to ya!

I believe I'm a quarter Irish (or maybe an 8th i really don't know).. there's some Irish in there somewhere

ok so the real reason i felt like writing an entry right now (before i watch survivor) was to talk about the funny funny moment that happened today at starbucks (aka heaven). Meghann, Sylv, Shaeda and I went after school for a much needed caffiene fix. We were all wearing our little green leprechaun hats that are like the size of a doll's head, so they looked really really funny. So we're sitting outside, drinking frappacinos(sp?) and what not, and Sylvana says "hey check out those hotties over there." so we all turn to look and see 2 guys, like 6th grade walking in to Starbucks, one of them had long blondish hair, trying to be all cool and shit, they looked like total dorks, i have no idea what the other kid looked like, that was not important to me, the 1st kid was enough. So then we all turn back to the table thinking to ourselves "god what dorks they are" and then meghann says, "you do realize we're wearing leprechaun hats on our heads." we all start laughing hysterically... it was really really funny at the time since we were just as dorky, if not even more so than those kids, maybe it wont seem too funny to you, the reader, but it was. believe me...

so yeah, this week is hell, im going to die, i can see my impending death and it is not pretty... god only knows when i can update this again.

to all my homies... love :)

P.S. <lj:music>scary website allie showed us... stupid crazy lord's prayer</lj:music>

i have no idea what to talk about. My life is sooo boring...

So on Sunday Sylv, Olivia, Pema, Georgia, Heather, Shannon, and me (I think that's all of us.. if i forgot someone i'm sorry) went to Andrew E's house to hang out and watch movies or something like that. It was fun... we watched a lot of this crazy ass Japanese show called something like takeshi's castle that's like a human Super Mario game... It's sooo crazy and sooo hard to explain. The show is really funny because its dubbed into english and they dub it into random shit... one of the games, boulder dash, very very funny. Basically you have to run up this hill with huge "boulders" rolling towards you. There are little pockets on the sides of the walls that you can hide in when the boulders come so you dont get crushed to death... except that there are people hiding in the pockets that try to push you out of the pockets... confusing but hilarious because the people always end up getting crushed by the boulders one way or another and are always smiling afterwards, even if they lost teeth or snapped their neck... crazy japanese......... Later we watched "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"... interesting movie, i got kinda bored cause i couldnt hear the tv... im sure its a good movie, just wasn't in the mood to watch a whole movie. Sylv and I left in time to watch Alias at her house.... AWESOME, AMAZING episode (but i always think they are great so i suppose that doesnt really mean anything).. . A lot of Sark (mmmm...) i think that's why i liked the episode the best...

So i had my college meeting with Holtrust yesterday... and now I'm going on the East Coast College trip even though i didnt plan on going on the trip or going to college over there... but we'll see what happens.. im excited. I think im going on the california trip too, but i would have to fly home a day early for Tom Sawyer training so i dunno what's going to happen.

Peace out...

    <lj:music>haha i just wanted to see what that would look like...</lj:music>

so formal was last friday... lots of fun... 1st we ate dinner at Panda Inn, very yummy and very funny... andrew's amazement at the knowledge of meghann's godfather was hilarious, i still can't get over that one, and i don't think he can either

formal itself was alot of fun, the best one ive been to by far, although having a good date usually helps. A lot of dancing (no britney spears... stupid dj), time passed quickly, and it was over.

The bowling alley gave our lanes away like 10 minutes before we got there :( so we had no idea what to do. Andrew suggested we go back to his house to chill.. he's got an awesome pool house kind of thing, so we went there, watched poltergeist, i think i left around 1 since sylv was leaving then and i wanted to bum a ride off of her and her oh so cool beemer :)

so, in conclusion, formal was VERY VERY VERY VERY FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

~~~
no school friday or monday (whoo hoo), but i have a shit load of homework this weekend AND a bio lab monday morning (stupid peters... grrr) but i still plan on going shopping and hopefully to the movies or something like that...
mary rowlandson is calling me to read about her stupid Native American captivity....
